Embark Studios developers systematically promote their ambitious free network shooter The Finals to release. At the moment, the authors of the project are not yet ready to announce the release date, but soon they will give a chance to try the game now. Embark on social networks published an invitation to the second closed beta testing, and at the same time shared the new trailer The Finals.

The second closed beta test The Finals will begin on this Wednesday, June 14, and will go exactly one week, until June 21. All players who played the first ZBT, as well as new participants registered through Steam, will be able to take part in it. Beto registration does not guarantee a place to participate, but most likely, the developers will open access for more players as the test is passing.

The second shooter beta will include all the content from the first, including modes and weapons. As the executive producer of the project Jonathan Lindsay noted, most of the changes in The Finals will be "internal" improvements based on key reviews from players. The developers processed movements, some settings, shooting physics, balance and performance.

Together with the update of performance, new system requirements for The Finals were published:

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit (last update)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD Ryzen R5 1600X
  • RAM: 12 GB of RAM
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 580

  • RAM: 16 GB of RAM
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT

In addition, previous participants can expect to see new weapons for all three classes, new cosmetics, skins and a new system of progress. A more “laid -back” mode of fast game 3 to 3 by 3, called “Quick Cash”, is also introduced. In this mode, matches will be longer, with faster timers of the revival and extraction and only one repository on the map at a time.
